BOSMAL performs a number of tests for the railway sector for resistance to environmental and climatic factors (temperature, humidity, corrosive agents, precipitation, dust, icing, wind, light), for objects such as: machinery and equipment; parts, assemblies of machinery and equipment; transport packaging; components, assemblies of electrical and electronic equipment, metal products; plastic products, fabrics, non-wovens, foams, rubbers, coated with paint and galvanic coatings and uncoated; coatings on metal and plastic substrates.

Tests for resistance to environmental conditions and exposures (including variable temperatures)

  • cold, according to EN 60068-2-1
  • dry hot according to EN 60068-2-2
  • moist heat, according to EN 60068-2-78
  • cyclic temperature changes acc. to PN-EN 60068-2-14

Testing according to EN 50125-3

For objects such as components and assemblies of equipment or parts of railway machinery and equipment, environmental and climatic (and vibration) tests according to EN 50125-3 (as well as other related standards) are carried out at BOSMAL, such as:
