Vehicle road tests

BOSMAL conducts:

• durability, reliability and functionality/drivability tests of the entire vehicle under on-road conditions
• analysis of vehicle faults and irregularities in functioning
• evaluation of durability and functionality of selected vehicle assemblies
  • reliability growth, EOBD, IUPR trials and others
  • passenger cars, trucks, buses of all types, trailers and semi-trailers
  • powertrains: combustion engine (petrol, diesel, LPG, CNG, biofuels, others); electrical, hybrid
  • different route types: urban, suburban, highway, mountain, off-road, high speed track
  • possibility of conducting tests outside Poland: in Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Sweden and other European countries, with special requirements (for example, ambient temperature or altitude)

The system for measurements of vehicle travel parameters based on GPS

• Other measurements of vehicle dynamics that require determination of the location, speed and acceleration of the vehicle in longitudinal and lateral directions
• Measurements made on the road with a no-contact method or with the use of Corrsys-Datron measurement systems with Correvit optical sensor head or inertial navigation system with GNSS OxTS RT2002.

We conduct:

• Measurements of maximum speed
• Measurements of acceleration rate
  • From a standing start, shifting through the gears, or in a chosen gear
  • From a running start, commencing from a chosen speed

Tester for measurements of the steering wheel angle and torque

BOSMAL carries out:

• Tests that require measurements of the steering angle and torque on the steering wheel
• Cars of any category, special vehicles
• Tests according to and compliant with the Regulation No. 79 of the UN/ECE
• The measuring unit is based on two sensors: torque sensor and incremental encoder, with torque measuring range up to 200 Nm.
