Symposia
International Exhaust Emissions Symposium
BOSMAL is the organiser and host of a series of events entitled “International Exhaust Emissions Symposium” (IEES). An ongoing increase in the interest shown in these events has been noted; the event has become one of the most important forums for the exchange of scientific knowledge on the issue of automotive exhaust emissions held in Poland.
These events have been organised since 2010. On 14-15 June 2018, the 6th such symposium organised by BOSMAL and the Polish Scientific Society of Combustion Engines (PTNSS) took place.
The 6th IEES was divided into 5 thematic sessions and contained a total of 25 presentations, 21 of which were presented by participants representing research centres from outside Poland.
The symposium was attended by about 120 delegates representing 67 companies from 17 countries (from both Europe and North America). The event was attended by automotive and fuel companies, government agencies and research institutions, consulting and engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, technical universities and representatives of the European Commission.
